Pam Ronan

Board Member

Education, governance and leadership roles have been a strong focus for Pam throughout her career as a teacher, TAFE and University educator, business development manager and Catholic school Principal.

Graduating from UniSA with a Master of Education Studies and Master of Business Administration, Pam went on to manage an international computing college and spent 10 years as a business development manager before returning to education.

Travelling to different communities throughout her life, Pam formed a deep interest in the education and wellbeing of children and young people and the social determinants that can impact on their welfare, including educational engagement, policies and socioeconomic opportunity.

Pam brings extensive governance and Board experience, having chaired and served on multiple Boards, government advisory groups and committees over the last 40-years, including the SACE Board of South Australia, The Australian College of Educators (SA), TAFESA Regional Institute Council of SA and Limestone Coast SA Strategic Plan Steering Group.

Active in semi-retirement with numerous ongoing volunteer and community roles, Pam is keen to support the SMLC Board through outcomes-based strategic planning and advancing the Board's mission to attract and sustain evidence-based services to reduce harm and build resiliency in communities across the Limestone Coast.
