Mount Gambier local Georgina joined the SMLC team in 2023, bringing nearly two decades of experience in mental health administration at the Limestone Coast Local Health Network.
During that time, Georgina worked initially as the initial point of contact for people utilising the service in the Community Mental Health space and then moved into the Integrated Mental Health Inpatient Unit, as the Ward Clerk.
Throughout this time, Georgina has developed a sound understanding of both the impacts and the correlation of drug and alcohol use and mental health conditions on the Limestone Coast community.
