Michael Schultz

Throughout his career, Michael has focused on youth development projects, taking on a number of senior roles within community-based organisations. For more than 20 years, Michael was the treasurer and driving force behind the South East Youth Development Project and played an instrumental role in the establishment of the Noorla Yo-Long facility at Rendelsham.

Involved in junior sporting and cultural boards in various capacities as well as coaching junior players, Michael believes in contributing to the development of physical infrastructure and programs that assist regional youth to reach their full potential.

With a Degree in Accounting, Michael has a successful accounting and advisory business, specialising in tax, succession and estate planning as well as management advice.

With a ‘glass half full’ philosophy and a focus on solutions rather than problems, Michael is looking forward to seeing his experience and insight help the SMLC board achieve its long-term strategic goals.
